Prof Linda Godfrey
Principal Scientist at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)
Principal Scientist at the ncipal Scientist at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and Extraordinary Professor at Northwest University in South Africa, and holds a PhD in Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
With over 20-years of sector experience, she manages the Waste Research Development and Innovation (RDI) Roadmap Implementation Unit on behalf of the Department of Science and Innovation, a unit tasked with implementing South Africa’s 10-year Waste RDI Roadmap.
She has provided strategic input to a number of local, regional and international waste and circular economy initiatives for the United Nations, European Union, World Bank, South African Government Departments, Academy of Sciences, International Solid Waste Association, universities and businesses.
She lectures internationally on solid waste management in developing countries, including the social, economic and environmental opportunities of “waste” within a circular economy context. She has published extensively in the field.
Lorren de Kock

Lorren is passionate about the environment and finding solutions which protects and regenerates our natural world while also ensuring the well being of society.
"Our long term survival and well being is dependent on the natural environment and short term economic gains at the expense of this is untenable. Information and innovation is key to address the externalities of our current business models."
Lorren has a background in Life Cycle Assessment and systems thinking which is a starting point to understand the challenges we face and acknowledge the complexity we are dealing with.
Sally-Anne Kasner
Director of Circular-Vision, a Circular Economy strategy and design consultancy.
Sally-Anne is passionate about making a positive impact by identifying opportunities to shift circular economy principles into implementation.
Her focus is on driving economic, social and environmental prosperity through connecting across the value chain; collaborating on projects; creating new business models that respond to circular economy principles, leading to a thriving and inclusive economy.
A background in waste minimisation and many years in the resource efficiency and cleaner production consulting environment, has provided a sound base from which to work.
She was previously an Executive Associate at JG Afrika, a founding member of EcoStandard, a founding member of the African Circular Economy Network, and a Non-Executive Director of Polyco.
Rowan Le Roux
Operations Director, Branson Centre and Future-fit Certified Professional
With over 18 years sustainability experience across academia, finance and manufacturing. Rowan has a unique combination of skills, and understanding of companies that allows him to provide sustainability advice to businesses.
Rowan believes in business as a force for good and in the role that businesses can play in restoring environmental and community systems.
His career purpose can be summed up as "Designing a better future through business".
